Dave Pepper for Civil Court Judge

I graduated from S.U.N.Y. Binghamton on the Dean’s List. I went to Brooklyn Law School and graduated with a J.D. cum laude, in the top ten percent of my class. Then, I practiced law for six years.

I have been a court attorney/law clerk to judges since 1988. My first eight years were in a felony part of the Supreme Court. From 1996 through 2003 I worked in the Civil Court. In those eight years I worked in every part of that court and I know that court very well.

Since 2004 I have been working in the Supreme Court. Since 2013, part of my work is in connection with the Appellate Term, which hears appeals from the Civil, Housing and Criminal Courts, and work in the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court, which handles the largest and most complex matters.

My wide array of experiences, from felony cases to small claims cases to commercial cases, has given me a deep understanding of how legal actions affect the lives of people and their communities.

For nearly three decades, I have been dedicated to taking the time to listen to the people involved in these cases, and giving everyone the respect they deserve. As a judge I will continue to treat everyone with dignity and respect and always search for justice in each and every case.
